In case you wonder what translation I am using, I thought I would explain. I have had many people hate me on account of various Bibles that I have had, so I decided to do my own translation. I look at many different translations, then I do my best to explain it in my own type of English. It also saves trouble with copyright. I hope you like my version – I do. God bless y’all.

Gospel songs by Kenneth Copeland

In the early hours of this morning, I had a dream where I met Kenneth Copeland. He and his wife were busy getting into a car in a parking lot. It was a strange dream, but I felt maybe I should search for some of his gospel songs to put on my website. I hope they are a blessing to you.

1. Bread upon the water- “live” with big band

This is fancy, with the big band backing.

2. Lord to me – “live”

There is a tremendous anointing on this song.

3. Alpha and Omega – “live”

4. Bethlehem morning – partly “live”

5. You’re the best thing – to his wife – “live”

It is nice to see people in love.

6. Without Him – Kenneth Copeland singing this gospel song “live” with Mylon LeFevre – in a studio

This was very interesting. Mylon wrote the song which was recorded by Elvis Presley.

7. I have returned – Gospel song by Kenneth Copeland

Back in the 80’s we were visiting some people, and they had this record playing. This was the only gospel song I had heard Kenneth Copeland sing.

8. The way (My God has made the way for me)

This song has some good words that ministered to me. A FAITH BUILDER.

9. He is my everything

I remember this gospel song from my childhood.

10. Because He lives

One of the great gospel songs of Bill and Gloria Gaither.

11. The miracle

This song  has a very interesting message. The greatest miracle is that someone can get saved. In my life I have seen lots of other miracles too, like legs being lengthened and gas multiplying in the gas tank of the car, and people climbing out of wheelchairs. Praise the Lord.

12. It’s beginning to rain

If you are thirsty, God will fill you!

13. Our God reigns

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

14. Only the redeemed

will be in the rapture!

15. He is Jehovah

Thank you Kenneth Copeland for these lovely gospel songs. God bless you and your precious wife and family.

Gospel songs by The Cameron Family and Roy Turner

Sid Roth’s Gospel TV Show – It’s Supernatural

I have had many supernatural experiences, but so many times when I have tried to share things with other people I am met with hatred and scorn. It is so encouraging to find that other people have also had many incredible experiences, and Sid Roth interviews many people who have had supernatural experiences. Here are some examples.

1. Mary K. Baxter

This lady had  terrible experiences in hell, and wonderful experiences in heaven. This is the most important video that you will ever see. Get saved now, by faith in Jesus, and you won’t end up in hell. When you die, it is too late.

2. Mark Virkler

How demons attack Christians. Mark discovered seven supernatural prayers that remove the legal right of the demonic and usher in healing for the spirit, soul, and body.

3. Norvel Hayes

His mother died when he was young and he asked God why. He went to heaven. He is told to help people in need.

4. Jordan Cook

A little girl with gift of painting and praying.

5. Mel Bond

He sees demons on people.

6. Kathie Walters

Sometimes people ride in heavenly chariots in her meetings.

7. Robby Dawkins

He  prays for a dying man and is told to take a risk – to open his mouth and speak what God gives him to say.

8. Keith Ellis

His son is dying and Jesus tells him to church. His son is miraculously healed.

9. Rodney Howard-Browne

He has an experience of God’s fire falling on him.

10. Chuck Missler – Aliens – UFOs

This a very interesting talk.

11. Kerry Kirkwood – right thinking

A girl who was a drug addict was changed when he spoke to her. We have to reject all the negative things people say about us, and latch on to God’s thoughts about us.

12. Gary Wood – dead 61 minutes, went to heaven and back

This guy was a tremendous blessing to me.

13.  Mahesh Chavda – ex Hindu from Kenya

He has had so many supernatural experiences.

14. Surprise Sithole – from Mozambique

He has been used by God to raise people from the dead.

15. John Benefiel – Baal divorce decree

16. Karen Dunham – beaten to death, then she saw Jesus

17. Todd White – a drug addict that God chose – having healing miracles on the streets

18. Jesus’ name is revealed in hidden code in the scriptures – Yacov Rambsel

I just watched this today. It is so exciting how Jesus’ name is found in Genesis, Leviticus, Proverbs, Ruth and Isaiah. They say that the chances of this happening is 1 : to an astronomical number! Beloved, believe the truth!

19. Yacov Rambsel – Your name and destiny in the Bible codes

20. James Durham – how Jesus sees us

It is interesting how Jesus sees him as dressed in golden armour.

21. L.A. Marzulli – The mark of the beast is a “UFO” implant

He mentions how aliens abduct people and how the surgeon takes out alien implants out of their flesh. He cover a lot of things including the Bible codes. The Twin Towers attack found in the Bible. September 11, and about 3,000 killed.

22. Vicki Jamison-Peterson

She sings and people get healed.

23. Dr. William Ward

100 lepers healed in the Bahamas. He got saved from death by an angel at age 4, then later met that angel in heaven. Mother prayed for him at age 9 when he cut his leg with an axe. His tonsils healed by Jesus – and the Jewish doctor runs away.

24. Shawn Bolz

This guy has a tremendous ministry where he can tell peoples secrets. Kind of scary for the people.

25. Shawn Bolz again

He was speaking in tongues at an early age  and praying for the sick. He even tells a billionaire his bank account number!

26. Owens Edge

His wife challenges him to pray every morning for 30 minutes. He accepts the challenge – but can’t pray. It is very interesting how the Lord works on him until he becomes a believer.

27. Jamie Galloway – little boy who drowned comes back to life

28. Ana Werner

She has been to heaven many times and sees things in the spirit.

29. Steve Lightle

God told him to give away his business and work for Him.

30. Laura Harris Smith

How to understand your dreams.

Bible lesson: Jannes and Jambres

Jannes and Jambres - colour - jpeg

One night, many years ago, I had a dream where a book was opened in front of me, and the Holy Spirit put a spotlight onto the page. My eyes zoomed in like a Hollywood camera to see what was in the spotlight, and I saw three words: Jannes and Jambres.

The next morning I went back to the book I had read the day before, and I read there that Jannes and Jambres were the magicians in Egypt. In the dim recesses of my memory I thought that I had read those guys names in the Bible somewhere, but I couldn’t remember where. So I went to the concordance expecting to find an Old Testament reference. (Those were the days before we had an internet computer.) To my surprise, I found their names only in the New Testament: 2 Timothy 3:8.

As I sat there staring at the page, it dawned on me that verse 16 was the main verse I was taught by a doctor of theology: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God.”

I was taught that ‘All scripture’ meant the Bible, nothing more and nothing less. Yet, here was Paul quoting from a different Bible – right in the very same chapter! I wasn’t clever enough to see it for myself, so that is why the Holy Spirit had to sort of ‘rub my nose in it’ for me to see the light. Whenever I had read those guys names, I had just thought that they were some guys in the wilderness that hassled with Moses.

So many times in my life, I have found that the things the Holy Spirit has taught me are different to what I have been taught by ministers of religion. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth. In fact Paul uses the word truth in that very verse: As Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these men oppose the truth.

So the Bibles that people make today, are not the same as what Paul considered as scripture. Because of visions and dreams I have had where the Holy Spirit has ministered to me, I have read a lot of ancient writings, and have seen a lot of things that are different to what most people believe. So I am just sharing this one thing with you as an example, because it is right there in black and white in the Bible!

Later on, we traveled back to North America, and a lady in the States was sharing about an ancient writing she had in her possession. I was very curious, and asked her what it was called. She said: “Jasher, or something, it is mentioned in the Bible.” So I went home to the concordance again, and found the Book of Jasher mentioned twice in the Old Testament. Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18.

A little while later, we were at a computer course, and during the coffee break my wife suggested I search for it. So I did, and ordered a copy from the bookstore. The first thing I did was look through the whole book for Jannes and Jambres, and I found them mentioned in chapter 79:27.

Some things in the Book of Jasher I found to be very exciting, but some things seem to be different from the Bible, so I am not sure what exactly to believe concerning it. Apparently there a different versions, so I am not sure what is the truth. I have also discovered that Jannes and Jambres are also mentioned in other ancient writings. So I am always searching for the truth.

May the Good Lord bless and keep you till we meet again.

Country Gospel songs by The Kendalls

Many years ago I saw The Kendalls on TV singing country love songs. Today I discovered that they also sing country gospel songs, so here are a few I found.

1. Do Lord

They do this old country gospel song very well – a great driving beat.

2. Amazing grace

Here is an old standard. Beautiful pictures!

3. One way or the other

This song is about a man on his death bed, and he says he is going to get up off that bed whether he lives or dies.

4. He’s always as close as your shadow

5. The Kendalls country gospel CD for sale

I came across this country gospel CD for sale, and there are 21 tracks that you can listen to. It sounds very good. If ever I find any more of their country gospel songs on the YouTube, I will add them to this list. God bless y’all.

Follow the star

1. Follow the star and three men.crop2

Follow the star by Don Foster (based on a dream I had many years ago)

Wife: What are you doing?
Husband: I’m packing my bags.
Wife: So you’re leaving me?
Husband: I’m just going on a trip.
Wife: You mean, before daybreak, you’re sneaking out of the house without even telling me?
Husband: Well, I only decided last night and you were asleep when I got home.
Wife: What is her name?
Husband: It’s not a woman, it’s something else.
Wife: Top secret?
Husband: Well, yeah, something like that.
Wife: Where are you going?
Husband: I don’t know.
Wife: Is the government sending you on a secret mission?
Husband: No, this has nothing to do with the government.
Wife: Why are you taking so many things? How long are you going for?
Husband: I don’t know.
Wife: You mean to tell me, you don’t know where you are going, and you don’t know how long you are going for? Is this trip more important than your wife and kids?
Husband: Yes.
Wife: Now I’ve heard it all. You’ve gone crazy. What if Fred comes around? What shall I tell him?
Husband: Nothing.
Wife: Is it so top secret that your best friend doesn’t even know about it?
Husband: Fred’s coming with me.
Wife: What? What will I tell Bill?
Husband: Nothing ….. he’s also coming?
Wife: How many of you are going?
Husband: Just the three of us.
Wife: What do their wives think?
Husband: I don’t know.
Wife: You guys are crazy! You’re leaving your wives and children to go on a wild goose chase to who knows where?
Husband: I knew you wouldn’t understand, that’s why I wasn’t going to tell you.
Wife: Who’s going to lead the way if you don’t know where you are going?
Husband: Honey, sit down. I’ll try to explain. You see, we were looking at the sky last night and we saw a star we have never seen before and we are going to follow it.
Wife: You were drinking too much last night.
Husband: (Sigh)
Wife: What’s in this bag? It looks like gold! Where did you get all this gold?
Husband: Well, I’ve been saving it up for some time.
Wife: You’ve never spent this kind of gold on me before. What are you going to do with it?
Husband: I’m going to give it away.
Wife: Give it away! To whom? What is her name?
Husband: It’s not a ‘her.’ It’s a ‘him.’
Wife: You’ve gone mad. Give away all this gold to someone you’ve never met, in a place where you’ve never been, and then you’re going to follow a star to get there? You ought to see a psychiatrist. You’ve gone stark raving mad! You and your friends!
Husband: I knew you wouldn’t understand.
Wife: Are they also giving away gold?
Husband: No, Fred’s taking frankincense, and Bill’s taking myrrh.
Wife: Now I’ve heard it all! And you say us women are unpredictable. You’ve all gone crazy! Crazy men!

PS. This is based on the story in the Bible of the wise men coming to see Jesus (Matthew chapter 2), and was inspired after reading about the birth of Abraham in the Book of Jasher (mentioned in Joshua 10,13 and 2 Samuel 1,18).

Gospel Songs by Bud Chambers

This morning on one of my websites someone was looking for “Evangelist Bud Chambers” which inspired me to do this section. Here are some of his Gospel Songs that I managed to find on the YouTube.

Bud Chambers2.cc. fixed

1. Think on these things

Back in 1971, I was singing at a church in Welkom (in the Orange Free State), and a lady gave me this record of Bud Chambers singing “Poor rich man.” It was such a blessing to me, that I wrote to him, and he sent me about six of his L.P. records. They were such a blessing. This is one of the songs on that record.

2. Everybody will be happy

They say he wrote over 3000 songs. Unfortunately there are only a few I could find on the YouTube.

3. Two roads

We must choose between the broad way and the narrow.

4. Keep looking up

5. You’ve gotta move

So many times when the Lord wants us to “move” we are not ready. Here is a picture I drew of him for one of my tracts that I did in South Africa back in the 70’s.

The rest of this section is other people singing his songs.

6. Bud Chambers medley of Gospel Songs – by a man singing and playing the piano

I cannot find this man’s name, but he is obviously a big fan of Bud Chambers and his gospel songs.

7. I was born to serve the Lord – Ken Raggio

A very interesting testimony.

8. I was born to serve the Lord – Becky Thornton and the Alder Creek Bluegrass Band

Very nicely done.

9. Born to serve the Lord – Vestal Goodman “live”

She says some very good things.

10. One more river to cross – David Wyper

I had a record of the Singing Rambos singing this song.

11. I will follow Thee – Lynda Randle

She must also be a fan of Bud Chambers and his Gospel Songs.

12. Praying kind of people – Scott Kilborn

Some very good words in this number.

13. I`m a poor rich man – The Gospel Plowboys

Many people seem to sing this song.

14. I`m a poor rich man – Happy Goodmans

15. I`m a poor rich man – Happy Goodmans `live`

16. I`m a poor rich man – The Davis Family `live

17. I`m a poor rich man – Jeff and Sheri Easter `live`

A very good performance.

18. Poor rich man – The Cathedrals

19. I’m a poor rich man – Master’s Messengers “live”

20. Poor rich man – Bluegrass Revival and Malinda

21. If Jesus said it, I believe it – Patsy Sullivan

I had a tape of Bud and Darlene Chambers singing this gospel song, so I presume he wrote it. There was another song I heard them sing that I still love and sing. It goes like this: “You ask me why I’m thankful, and why I sing and shout. You ask me why I’m thankful when this world’s full of doubt. You ask me what it is that makes me feel this way, I found it at an altar when I began to pray.”

22. If Jesus said it, I believe it – Happy Goodmans

In about 1973 a friend got me in to sing at the South African Council of Churches meeting in the big Methodist Church in Downtown Durban, and I sang his song “Jesus Man.” It looked like there was going to be a riot. Every time I came to the chorus of the song about 600 African preachers stood up shouting and holding up their fists. I never did figure out if they liked the song or if they hated it. I don’t think the organizers liked it. They didn’t let me “loose” again!

There were so many of his songs that I sang and they were such a great blessing to me. I think of songs like “Among the sinners, News from Vietnam, Devil’s detour, Serve the Lord with gladness, We’re gonna have a time tonight.”

I notice that there isn’t much on the internet regarding Brother Chambers, and the other week I felt I should share some of the songs I can remember, but I got lazy to start typing. So this morning I got motivated, and will share the words of two songs that I hope I have remembered correctly. I hope his family doesn’t mind, but his songs were such a blessing to me, that I want his songs to be a blessing to other people too. I could sing them on the YouTube, but I might get in trouble. Anyway, here are two songs I just typed from memory of about 40 years ago:

SERVE THE LORD

1. There’s a million broken homes, a million broken hearts,

A million shattered plans, dreams torn apart.

A  million people cry, a million lonely nights,

But as for me and my house, we’ll always serve the Lord.

Chorus

Serve the Lord with gladness, serve Him with a cheerful heart.

Serve Him when old Satan tries to tear your little home apart.

Serve Him when the going gets rough, serve Him when the times are hard.

As for me and my house, we’ll always serve the Lord.

2. There’s a million wicked men, and evil women too.

Who try to justify all t the sinful things they do.

They may laugh at me, when I preach God’s word.

But as for me and my house, we’ll always serve the Lord.

AMONG THE SINNERS

1. We’ve waited for the sinner man to step inside our church.

We’ve waited for the preacher man to do all the work,

But we’ve failed this generation, not giving them salvation,

Let’s take Jesus where the sinners are.

Chorus

Let’s take Jesus out among the sinners.

Let’s take Jesus where the sinners are.

Can’t you see that they are dying, for the Bread of life they’re starved.

Let’s take Jesus, where the sinners are.

2. We’ve waited for the younger man to step inside our church.

To trim his hair, and change his clothes, and stop that endless search.

But thousands of teenagers are bound by Satan’s chains,

If the teenager won’t come to church, let’s take the church to him.

3. We’ve waited for the heathen man to leave his heathen gods.

We’ve always said the if he’s saved, it’s someone else’s job

To lead him to a little mission church, and Jesus’ way explain,

But if the heathen man won’t come to Christ, then let’s take Christ to him.

4. We’ve waited for the wicked man to leave his wicked ways.

To come right inside our church, and kneel down and pray.

But he’s facing eternity without a helping hand,

Let’s take Jesus to that wicked man.

(I hope these songs will be a blessing to someone).

Last night a song came to my mind, and I notice this morning a couple of people looking at Bud Chamber’s songs. So I will try and type it from memory. I don’t even know if this is the right title, but here goes:

GOD’S PEOPLE ARE MOVING

1. Abraham kept looking for a city,

whose builder and maker was God.

He traveled on when the journey was easy,

and he traveled when the journey was hard.

When he got old, he was strong and bold,

kept looking for a city we’re told

And though he couldn’t see it with the natural eye,

He’ll see it in the bye and bye.

Chorus

O, God’s people are a moving people,

and we gotta keep moving on,

No matter how rough the road may be,

We gotta keep moving on.

We don’t care what the devil is doing,

All we know is we gotta keep moving

‘Cause God’s people are a moving people

and we gotta keep moving on.

2. Moses was a man who had a vision

of that beautiful Promised Land

He said: “Come on children we gotta get moving,

get away from Pharoah’s hand.”

Well the journey was hard and the people got tired,

but they had to keep moving on.

When Moses died, Joshua cried:

“We are able, keep pressing on!”

Here is another song I have on another website featuring soldier songs. I used to sing this song, but changed the words to fit into the African situation. I also met a guy who lost his son to a landmine on his way back from Angola.

NEWS FROM VIETNAM

I heard the news about the war today from Vietnam.

They say the fighting was much lighter in that far and distant land.

There were three separate bombings on the northern battle land.

Three soldiers lost their lives, out of three one was mine.

(Chorus)

They still say the war is cold, and we’re winning every day,

but so many have been wounded and there are thousands in their graves.

It’s not so bad to lose one soldier when so many have to die,

but today things are different, one soldier boy is mine.
(Talking)

He was so young and so happy, when he left one year ago.

He bade the family all goodbye, but little did we know.

It would be the last farewell for a soldier brave and kind.

Yes, today thing are different, one soldier boy is mine.

Her’s another song that is a great blessing to me, and I am typing from memory, so please forgive me if I make mistakes with the words. I am not sure of the correct title.

THANKFUL

1. You ask me why I’m thankful and why I sing and shout,

You ask me why I’m thankful when this world’s full of doubt,

You ask me what it is that makes me feel this way,

I found it at an altar when I began to pray.

Chorus

And that is why I’m thankful, that’s why I sing and shout,

God put something in my heart that I can shout about,

Thankful because He heard my prayer and answered it one day,

Thankful because He saved me in that good old fashioned way.

2. They tell me of a man who walked the shores of Galilee,

They tell me that He had the power to cause the blind to see,

They also said He had the power to cause the dumb to talk,

He also said unto the lame: “Take up thy bed and walk!”

Don Foster – Country Gospel L.P. Record

LP Its Gotta Be Love.fixed

Back in 1972, when I was visiting South Africa, I did a Country Gospel L.P. record called “It’s gotta be love.” (L.P. means long playing record). Hennie Schoeman and his band “Selah” backed me. On the record I called them ‘Sela Sound.’ Playing bass guitar was Peter Hawley, and Hennie played rhythm guitar on some cuts. The singers were Kittie Schoeman, Engele Kok and Hennie Schoeman. The special effects man was Andre van Jaarsveldt who played Hawaiian guitar, mandolin and 12 string guitar on various songs. I played rhythm guitar and piano on various songs. Many thanks to Leo and Leona Tremblay for giving me the record that they bought from me back in the eighties.

1. It’s gotta be love

I wrote this song after visiting Hillbrow, Johannesburg in 1971. It looked like people were stoned on drugs sitting on the sidewalks.

2. Fly high

I wrote this song in Durban in 1970 after seeing a motor bike accident. I was coming back late one night from a meeting with the Full Gospel Church in Amanzimtoti, when 4 motorbikes came swerving around my car doing about 80 miles per hour. When I got to the single lane at the end of the freeway, the one bike had hit the rail and the guy had gone over the edge and landed about 40 feet down. The girl was lying on the tar near the bike. I rushed to the nearest phone and called the ambulance. It was very traumatic for me.

The other songs I had on the record have been taken off because I didn’t write them. I did pay copyright years ago, but someone complained, so I have deleted them.

Since them I have discovered that someone else has uploaded my LP onto the YouTube, so I will put links to their site. If there is any problems with copyright, then they can ‘Face the music’ themselves.

3. Across the bridge

I had a record of Jim Reeves singing this one.

4. Are all the children in

Johnny Cash wrote this song. Many people gave their hearts to the Lord after I had sung this song in various meetings.

5. Wings of a dove

I think I heard this as a hit song on the radio.

6. Where could I go but to the Lord

I had a record of Elvis Presley singing this one. That’s me playing piano!

7. Church in the wildwood

This one reminded me of my childhood experiences in Salisbury, of going to church and Sunday School.

8. Don’t shake hands with the devil

I heard this song by Cowboy Copas on a record some friends had in Gwelo, when I was doing military training with the Air Force.

9. Precious memories

I often sang this song to myself while doing night shit security in the Air Force in Gwelo.

10. Jesus and me

I play piano on this one.

11. The Latter rain song

When I stayed in Honeydew with Mr. Willie Roeland, he came back from an overseas visit with a record by The Cameron Brothers. The song was written by Roy Turner, who also songs like ‘All over the world’ and ‘A dancing heart.’

I bought a record in Bulawayo of some American sisters singing this song. I think it was written by Bill Gaither.
