I have always associated George Jones with love songs, but he also sang a lot of good old country gospel songs. I hope some of these will be a blessing to you.

This is a good old standard country gospel song written by Kris Kristofferson.

May Mr. George Jones rest in peace, safe in the arms of Jesus.

Gospel songs by Rex Allen

When I was young, a friend had a record of Rex Allen singing gospel songs. One of the songs I heard  was on my mind the other day, but I can’t find it on the YouTube. Anyway, here are some other songs I found, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

1. Take me Lord

I remember hearing this song on the record.

2. Just a closer walk with Thee – Gospel song by Rex Allen

3. Crying in the chapel

I am presuming that this is where Elvis got this song from, and made it into a hit.

4. Wasted years – with lyrics

For many years we sang this chorus at church meetings. A very important message.

5. Daddy sang bass

I first heard this one sung by Johnny Cash. Written by Carl Perkins. In the song it mentions how his brother had died. From what I have read, Carl was on the way to New York to promote his song ‘Blue suede shoes’ when they had a car accident and his brother got killed.

6. I won’t need my six gun in heaven

The cowboy side of him.

7. I thank the Lord

This is actually a love song, but it is good that he is thanking the Lord.

6. Too sick to pray – “live”

Willie Nelson wrote this country gospel song too. It is a bit of a cheeky song. I wonder what the Lord thinks of it. In the Bible it says we must sing unto the Lord a new song.  So I guess the Lord wants to hear new songs too!

7. Are you washed in the blood

23. I’ll fly away

24. Were you there when they crucified my Lord

25. Family Bible – “live”

When I was in Bulawayo in the late 60’s I bought a record by Bobby Bare where he sang this lovely country gospel song. I was a great blessing to me. It was many many years later that I discovered that it was written by Willie Nelson, who sold it because he was short of money. One version said he sold it for $50, another version said he sold it for $100.

26. Farther along

27. Where He leads me

28. Showers of blessing

This song blessed me so much, that I felt inspired to want to sing and play the guitar again. For many years I quit playing the guitar and singing country gospel songs because of criticism. I also quit writing songs, but I think I am slowly getting healed. So I am very grateful to Mr. Willie Nelson for singing this song and playing his guitar. He seems happy singing – so why shouldn’t I? So I wrote the words down, and sang it over and over again! Since then I have sung it a few times in church too. Thank you Jesus!

In case you wonder what translation I am using, I thought I would explain. I have had many people hate me on account of various Bibles that I have had, so I decided to do my own translation. I look at many different translations, then I do my best to explain it in my own type of English. It also saves trouble with copyright. I hope you like my version – I do. God bless y’all.

Gospel songs by Kenneth Copeland

In the early hours of this morning, I had a dream where I met Kenneth Copeland. He and his wife were busy getting into a car in a parking lot. It was a strange dream, but I felt maybe I should search for some of his gospel songs to put on my website. I hope they are a blessing to you.

Sid Roth’s Gospel TV Show – It’s Supernatural

I have had many supernatural experiences, but so many times when I have tried to share things with other people I am met with hatred and scorn. It is so encouraging to find that other people have also had many incredible experiences, and Sid Roth interviews many people who have had supernatural experiences. Here are some examples.

1. Mary K. Baxter

This lady had  terrible experiences in hell, and wonderful experiences in heaven. This is the most important video that you will ever see. Get saved now, by faith in Jesus, and you won’t end up in hell. When you die, it is too late.

2. Mark Virkler

How demons attack Christians. Mark discovered seven supernatural prayers that remove the legal right of the demonic and usher in healing for the spirit, soul, and body.

3. Norvel Hayes

His mother died when he was young and he asked God why. He went to heaven. He is told to help people in need.

4. Jordan Cook

A little girl with gift of painting and praying.

5. Mel Bond

He sees demons on people.

6. Kathie Walters

Sometimes people ride in heavenly chariots in her meetings.

7. Robby Dawkins

He  prays for a dying man and is told to take a risk – to open his mouth and speak what God gives him to say.

8. Keith Ellis

His son is dying and Jesus tells him to church. His son is miraculously healed.

9. Rodney Howard-Browne

He has an experience of God’s fire falling on him.

10. Chuck Missler – Aliens – UFOs

This a very interesting talk.

11. Kerry Kirkwood – right thinking

A girl who was a drug addict was changed when he spoke to her. We have to reject all the negative things people say about us, and latch on to God’s thoughts about us.

12. Gary Wood – dead 61 minutes, went to heaven and back

This guy was a tremendous blessing to me.

13.  Mahesh Chavda – ex Hindu from Kenya

He has had so many supernatural experiences.

14. Surprise Sithole – from Mozambique

He has been used by God to raise people from the dead.

15. John Benefiel – Baal divorce decree

16. Karen Dunham – beaten to death, then she saw Jesus

17. Todd White – a drug addict that God chose – having healing miracles on the streets

18. Jesus’ name is revealed in hidden code in the scriptures – Yacov Rambsel

I just watched this today. It is so exciting how Jesus’ name is found in Genesis, Leviticus, Proverbs, Ruth and Isaiah. They say that the chances of this happening is 1 : to an astronomical number! Beloved, believe the truth!

19. Yacov Rambsel – Your name and destiny in the Bible codes

20. James Durham – how Jesus sees us

It is interesting how Jesus sees him as dressed in golden armour.

21. L.A. Marzulli – The mark of the beast is a “UFO” implant

He mentions how aliens abduct people and how the surgeon takes out alien implants out of their flesh. He cover a lot of things including the Bible codes. The Twin Towers attack found in the Bible. September 11, and about 3,000 killed.

22. Vicki Jamison-Peterson

She sings and people get healed.

23. Dr. William Ward

100 lepers healed in the Bahamas. He got saved from death by an angel at age 4, then later met that angel in heaven. Mother prayed for him at age 9 when he cut his leg with an axe. His tonsils healed by Jesus – and the Jewish doctor runs away.

24. Shawn Bolz

This guy has a tremendous ministry where he can tell peoples secrets. Kind of scary for the people.

25. Shawn Bolz again

He was speaking in tongues at an early age  and praying for the sick. He even tells a billionaire his bank account number!

26. Owens Edge

His wife challenges him to pray every morning for 30 minutes. He accepts the challenge – but can’t pray. It is very interesting how the Lord works on him until he becomes a believer.

27. Jamie Galloway – little boy who drowned comes back to life

28. Ana Werner

She has been to heaven many times and sees things in the spirit.

29. Steve Lightle

God told him to give away his business and work for Him.

30. Laura Harris Smith

How to understand your dreams.

Bible lesson: Jannes and Jambres

Jannes and Jambres - colour - jpeg

One night, many years ago, I had a dream where a book was opened in front of me, and the Holy Spirit put a spotlight onto the page. My eyes zoomed in like a Hollywood camera to see what was in the spotlight, and I saw three words: Jannes and Jambres.

The next morning I went back to the book I had read the day before, and I read there that Jannes and Jambres were the magicians in Egypt. In the dim recesses of my memory I thought that I had read those guys names in the Bible somewhere, but I couldn’t remember where. So I went to the concordance expecting to find an Old Testament reference. (Those were the days before we had an internet computer.) To my surprise, I found their names only in the New Testament: 2 Timothy 3:8.

As I sat there staring at the page, it dawned on me that verse 16 was the main verse I was taught by a doctor of theology: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God.”

I was taught that ‘All scripture’ meant the Bible, nothing more and nothing less. Yet, here was Paul quoting from a different Bible – right in the very same chapter! I wasn’t clever enough to see it for myself, so that is why the Holy Spirit had to sort of ‘rub my nose in it’ for me to see the light. Whenever I had read those guys names, I had just thought that they were some guys in the wilderness that hassled with Moses.

So many times in my life, I have found that the things the Holy Spirit has taught me are different to what I have been taught by ministers of religion. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth. In fact Paul uses the word truth in that very verse: As Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these men oppose the truth.

So the Bibles that people make today, are not the same as what Paul considered as scripture. Because of visions and dreams I have had where the Holy Spirit has ministered to me, I have read a lot of ancient writings, and have seen a lot of things that are different to what most people believe. So I am just sharing this one thing with you as an example, because it is right there in black and white in the Bible!

Later on, we traveled back to North America, and a lady in the States was sharing about an ancient writing she had in her possession. I was very curious, and asked her what it was called. She said: “Jasher, or something, it is mentioned in the Bible.” So I went home to the concordance again, and found the Book of Jasher mentioned twice in the Old Testament. Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18.

A little while later, we were at a computer course, and during the coffee break my wife suggested I search for it. So I did, and ordered a copy from the bookstore. The first thing I did was look through the whole book for Jannes and Jambres, and I found them mentioned in chapter 79:27.

Some things in the Book of Jasher I found to be very exciting, but some things seem to be different from the Bible, so I am not sure what exactly to believe concerning it. Apparently there a different versions, so I am not sure what is the truth. I have also discovered that Jannes and Jambres are also mentioned in other ancient writings. So I am always searching for the truth.

May the Good Lord bless and keep you till we meet again.

Country Gospel songs by The Kendalls

Many years ago I saw The Kendalls on TV singing country love songs. Today I discovered that they also sing country gospel songs, so here are a few I found.

1. Do Lord

They do this old country gospel song very well – a great driving beat.

2. Amazing grace

Here is an old standard. Beautiful pictures!

3. One way or the other

This song is about a man on his death bed, and he says he is going to get up off that bed whether he lives or dies.

4. He’s always as close as your shadow

5. The Kendalls country gospel CD for sale

I came across this country gospel CD for sale, and there are 21 tracks that you can listen to. It sounds very good. If ever I find any more of their country gospel songs on the YouTube, I will add them to this list. God bless y’all.
