Saved from the blast in Beirut I saw this last night on Facebook, and it was such a blessing to know that God cares for his children. It reminds me of the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers, many people didn’t go to work that day because of various reasons, and were saved from being killed. The same sort of thing happened so many times in Rhodesia, when people were protected by angels, or the terrorist’s rifles didn’t work, etc. It is so wonderful that the pastor sent all the people home, and saved them from being killed by the blast in Beirut.

Give to Caesar

THE HOLY SPIRIT spoke to me when I was in Rome, and I saw churchianity in a whole different light. I want to challenge your brain to think of all the things that you believe – do they belong to God, or do they belong to Caesar?
This is my opinion: Whatever is in the correct translation of the scriptures, belongs to God, and whatever is in the Roman Calendar, belongs to Caesar.
The above things were published on Aug.18.2020. Today is Oct.31.2024, and I feel I must add a few more things that have been on my heart this morning. We live near a park, and I enjoy going for a walk to the park, and swing on the swings, etc, and it is my time that I talk a lot to the Lord. We are in Canada at present, and I noticed kids were dressed as witches as they waited for the school bus. I guess this is a big day for them when they can dress up to celebrate. I guess it is Satan’s big day too. Every country has it’s own traditions, and when I was a kid it was Nov.5th. The school used to burn a dummy on a pole.
Every country I have been in, all have their own different traditions and special holidays, etc.,and all of them follow the Roman Calendar. Every church I have been a member of, also followed the Roman Calendar. All the dates I am mentioning are also all from the Roman Calendar. However, that is totally different to what is written in the Bible. Jesus was born and raised in the Roman Empire, but he never followed the traditions of the Romans. In those days it was Julius Caesar’s Calendar. That calendar had the same days and months as today’s calendar, but Jesus never mentioned any of those words. I grew up in a church that claimed to believe the Bible. I have been in churches of about 40 different denominations, and all of them seem to believe in the Bible.
I have mentioned similar things before in various articles that I have written, but I feel I must share what is on my heart this morning. In the picture above, Jesus is talking about Caesar and God. Jesus knew the difference between Caesar and God! However, most churches that I have been in cannot see what belongs to God and what belongs to Caesar. When I was a little boy, I was made to stay up till midnight on Dec.31 to pray in the new year. But that is not God’s new year – that is Caesar’s new year. Caesar was an idol worshipper, and brought January into his calendar to honour his “god of beginnings and endings.” That is totally different to what Jesus himself says in the Bible. Jesus himself says in the Bible that he is “the beginning and the end.” Revelation chapter 1, chapter 21 and chapter 22. In the Bible a day ends at sunset, not midnight.
Beloved, when I was a teenager, and read the Bible, I thought all the laws were for the Jews, and not for me. I have been in Israel and I have been in Rome. I am not a Roman, so why must I follow all the Roman rules and traditions? I believe in the God of the Bible, so if I have a choice to believe God or believe Caesar, I would rather believe God. According to God, the new year starts 14 days before Passover. Exodus chapter 12. Then in Exodus chapter 40, God told Moses that he must erect the tabernacle on the first day of the new year. When Moses did that, that is when the glory of God came down into the tabernacle. When Jesus was born, that is when the angels sang “Glory to God in the highest.” Jesus was the glory of God on this earth.
Everything that God does is for a reason and a purpose. Beloved I want to encourage you to follow God, not Caesar!
Walking from Jericho to Jerusalem
Walking from Jericho to Jerusalem I shared this video with my family the other night, and my children liked it. I remember riding in a car from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea, and seeing a sign at the side of the road: “Good Samaritan Inn.” Afterwards we went to Jericho and back to Jerusalem. It is so easy when you ride in a car, but when Jesus traveled that way, he had to walk on the side of the cliff, and climb over rocks, etc. So it was so nice to get a feel of what Jesus and the disciples experienced when they walked all over the land. My hat off to those folks who did this movie. They did it in a very nice way.
Microchip and 666
Carl Sanders – the man who invented the RFID microchip – speaks out
I don’t know how long ago this was actually filmed, but this is very serious, and a prelude to the mark of the beast. If you receive the microchip and 666, you can never be saved, but will end up in the lake of fire forever.
Hell and back
Bill Wiese, The Man Who Went to Hell – 8 minute video. Jesus sent Bill to hell and back so that he could warn all people of the dangers of going to hell. Beloved, please warn your family and friends. Hell is a terrible place to go to, and there is no escape.

Look what the Lord has done
- A man in Northern Ireland – healed of Corona virus Someone shared this video on Facebook the other day, and it was such a blessing to me. There are so many dying of the disease, that we must pray for their healing. Maybe share this 6 minute video with others to encourage their faith. In the Bible it is written that without faith it is impossible to please God. The other day I was thinking of how Jesus said that they must pray that their flight be not in winter. In other words, Jesus believed that our prayers could make a difference. So we need to kick our faith into first gear and pray! Look what the Lord has done for Lee in Northern Ireland, and here are a bunch of people singing the song in praise to the Lord.
- Look what the Lord has done – Rhema band and singers. USA Some years back I remember visiting a church in Hamilton where they sang this song. I got so fired up that I was dancing in the aisle!

- Wheat field early harvest exposed the terror tunnels in Israel. I think this happened in 2014. The video has been removed, but the story in wonderful. So beloved, let us always give all the glory to the Lord. He will not share His glory with another. The Lord is the only healer. I got healed of cancer by saying a prayer of thanksgiving – Ephesians 5,20: Giving thanks always unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paralyzed for over 22 years – then gets healed

Country Gospel Songs by Gloria Sherry
I was looking for the country gospel song called: “I didn’t stop dancing,” and this brought me to Gloria Sherry.
- I didn’t stop dancing – my favourite country gospel song by Gloria Sherry I used to sing this song a long time ago, and am singing it again now in my old age.
- One day at a time – with a nice beat and steel guitar. This is also one of my favourite country gospel songs. Many years ago my constant prayer was for the Lord to just get me through that particular day.
- When I sing for Him I think I heard Dolly Parton singing this country gospel song. Very nice.
- Sweet sweet surrender
- I want to be ready
- What a friend I have in Jesus
- He knows the way
- Old rugged cross
- How great Thou art
- Just a closer walk This is the very first country gospel song that I sang in front of people. I was so nervous that I forgot half the words.
- Rock of ages
- One day at a time This sounds like a Nashville recording. Gloria Sherry had this song on the hit parade for a long time.
- One day at a time – At the fireside.
- One day at a time – Gloria Sherry “live” on The Late Late Show.
- One day at a time – This is Gloria Sherry in her old age “live” on stage with a band.
