\u201dAll scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness:<\/strong> That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.\u201d <\/strong>2 Timothy 3:16-17<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I studied theology, this was the main verse that I was taught concerning the Bible. It was a very long time ago, so I cannot remember all the details, but I seem to recall being taught that \u201call scripture\u201d meant the \u201cBible.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n

About 20 years later, I had a dream where the Holy Spirit showed me the names: \u201cJannes and Jambres.\u201d The next morning, before I even had a cup of tea, I went back to the book I had read the day before, and I read that Jannes and Jambres were the magicians in Egypt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then my mind went one step further, and I thought that I had read those names somewhere in the Bible before, but I couldn\u2019t remember where. So I went to the concordance, expecting to find an Old Testament reference, but there were none. There was only one reference, and it was in the New Testament: <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/strong>As Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses,\u00a0so do these men oppose\u00a0the truth.\u201d <\/strong>2 Timothy 3:8.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As I sat there staring at the page, it dawned on me, that verse 16 was the main verse that I was taught in theology, and that Paul was quoting from a different Bible. It was like the \u201ccherry on the cake\u201d or \u201cthe tip of the iceberg\u201d concerning lots of other things that the Holy Spirit had taught me over the years. I told my family it was \u201cone small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind.\u201d Like a man walking on the moon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The next step was to find where Paul was quoting from. I found an ancient writing that mentioned \u201cJannes and his brother\u201d but that didn\u2019t fit the equation. At that time we were living in South Africa, and computers on the market, but we were very poor and didn\u2019t own a fancy computer. I had lost my job working at a church school, and didn\u2019t have a salary.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So we sold the house, and flew back to Canada. One day in America, I got a clue to solving the mystery. A dear old lady was telling us about an ancient writing that someone had given her. I interrupted her, and asked her what the ancient writing was that she was talking about. She replied: \u201cJasher, or something, it is mentioned in the Bible.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

We came back to Canada and I looked in the concordance again to find the word \u201cJasher\u201d and there were two references. Then it dawned on me that I had read that word before. One time in South Africa when my wife was doing real estate, I covered for her when she had an \u201copen house\u201d and I borrowed her Amplified Bible, and I read a bit as I was waiting for customers. I remembered reading that word in Joshua 10:13 and putting a question mark in the margin of her Bible, but I had forgotten all about it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is also another reference, of how King David taught his men to fight according to the words of Judah in the Book of Jasher. 2 Samuel 1:18.<\/h1>\n

One day I saw a sign on a light pole that there was a free computer course available down town. During one of the coffee breaks my wife suggested that I type in the \u201cBook of Jasher\u201d in the search engine. So I did that, and I ordered a copy of the book from an American company. I found Jannes and Jambres names in chapter 79 verse 27. Apparently there are many different versions of the Book of Jasher.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So beloved, how come we don\u2019t have the book of Jasher in our Bibles? Jesus said that by the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established. Matthew 18:16. Here we have 3 witnesses mentioned in every Bible. The Holy Spirit showed me these names after reading the Gospel of Nicodemas. So there are 4 witnesses. How many witnesses does it take to get people to believe the truth? \u201cThe answer my friend is blowing in the wind.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0In 1977 I had a vision of the coming of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit said to me: \u201cThe Lord cometh with ten thousands of his holy ones.\u201d After the vision, I got to thinking that Jude was quoting from Enoch, but we don\u2019t have Enoch\u2019s writings in our Bibles. At that time I was on a temporary visa in South Africa, and my home county was going through terrorist warfare.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Many years later at the World\u2019s biggest bookstore in Toronto, I came across the writings on Enoch. From there it led to many journeys in many other different directions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every writer in the New Testament quotes scriptures from a different Bible. Jesus himself quotes scriptures that are not found in our Bibles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One time, many years ago, I had a man shouting at me in my face that I don\u2019t agree with the Cannon of Scripture. I wonder, if he ever gets to heaven, will he shout at Jesus in his face, or Peter or Paul, or John, or James, or Jude? I have had so many church people hate me on account of the Holy Spirit.
