When I was young, a friend in Salisbury had a record of about twelve different American singers. One was Roy Rogers, who I knew from my cowboys comics, and another was Hank Snow singing Glory land march. I had never heard of Hank Snow before, but I loved the upbeat sound. I never heard of him again in Africa, but when I came to Canada, I found out that he was a famous Canadian singer that made it big in Nashville.
